Tanuky’s Truisms: Parents & Mental Illnesses

Truism 1: Many parents want to label their children as mentally ill.

Truism 2: Mental illness in a child is the perfect excuse for a parent. They want to be able to not be parents and doze their children with legal drugs. On the flip side parents want to have an excuse for the bad behavior of their brats.

Truism 3: Those parents who want label their children as mentally ill do not want to take care of their children. Any excuse to have them drugged, so they can have a life, is welcomed.

Truism 4: If a child is mentally ill you can have the pity of the teacher, the school and the community. You have more leeway on being a bad parent.

Truism 5: Having a mentally or emotionally scarred children means that you have a special child. On the flip side you have a companion for life. An incapacitated child will always need you. The parent will never be abandoned.
