How was your year? Were you able to have the adventures that would make Odysseus envious? Did you have the will to take life by the throat and size it for your own pleasure?

Or as the crowds around you, were you just too caught up in daily life to really live. Did you just forfeit your right to godhood for the simple commodities of the mediocre existence…

Has your year been worthy to be written in books of eternity or is not worthy to just be forgotten as another wasted year…

Me puedes dar una ayudita

Se ha creado una expectativa de ayudar a la inmundicia que inunda las calles de nuestras ciudades. La realidad es que se ha esa expectativa de ayuda se ha desembocado en un comando por los que quieren tomar lo que no es suyo mediante la culpa. Ya el dar ‘una ayudita’ no es un pedido es una exigencia.



Todos los filántropos que ayudan a los fracasados, todas las religiones que abogan por los irresponsables, todo estado benefactor que sostiene a los perezosos… lo que han creado es que la inmundicia de la cuidad ahora pretenda que los que producen los ayuden a subsistir y mantenga sus vicios.



Utilizan un falso sentido de culpa. Hacen sentir culpable a los que pueden producir por el hecho que producen. Establecen un sentido de culpa por tomar las decisiones correctas o por hacer los sacrificios necesarios que llevan al éxito. Se crea un sentido de culpa de ser hábil y capaz.



Esto se tiene que detener. Es ilógico e impone una carga inmerecida a las personas de capacidad y talento. Cuando esa inmundicia que pida ‘una ayudita’ se le tiene que increpar…



Tú eres la suma de tus decisiones

Tú fuiste quien decidió utilizar drogas por entretenimiento o para escapar de su realidad.

Tú fuiste quien no tuvo el control al utilizar las drogas

Entonces, ¿Por qué tengo que ayudarte? Cuando fueron tus decisiones las que llevaron a la adicción a vagabundear y mendigar. ¿Por qué te tengo que liberal de los resultados de tus decisiones?



Cuando la inmundicia se acerca es porque sabe que la persona tiene los recursos satisfacer sus pretensiones. Los cuales se han logrado por la labor del individuo. Porque en vez de escudarse de una realidad perversa en el escape de una droga, se decidió trabajar por una vida mejor. Tomando al destino por el cuello y domándolo a la voluntad propia.



Sin embargo ahora se quiere obligar a que se comparta con el que decidió a no laborar por su propia vida. Alguien que lo único que hace mendigar, tomar lo que no se ha ganado mediante la culpa. No se le tiene que dar ‘una ayudita’. Nada obliga a tenerle compasión a quien a decidió echar a la cloaca su vida. Nada obliga a compartir lo que por el derecho del esfuerzo propio se ha ganado un individuo.



Manipulación y Mentiras: Clave del progreso en la fraternidad

Soy miembro de una fraternidad a la cual se acercan muchas personas en busca de beneficio propio. Lo cual no debe sorprender ya que los seres humanos están prejuiciados hacia el beneficio propio. Aunque entendamos el sesgo hacia la propia persona, no tenemos que entender o tolerar el engaño de las personas para lograr unas metas dentro de nuestra fraternidad.

En un caso reciente Chev Jalms ha logrado arrebatar la presidencia de un capitulo mediante la mentira, manipulación y copra de apoyo.

Chev Jalms comenzó su carrera por ser un Legado. Es decir ya tenía familiares dentro de la fraternidad. Según nos han contado, fueron muy activos y razonablemente prominentes en su época, lo cual significa hace dos generaciones. Este hecho es el fundamento para la primera mentira y manipulación de Chev Jalms.

Por ser un legado el tendría derecho a la Medalla γιος que lo reconocería como tal. ¿Cuál es el problema para reconocerlo como tal? El tenia que iniciarse en el capítulo de su padre para poder obtener la medalla. Lo cual el no hizo porque consideraba el Capítulo λαδψος, donde su padre laboró como fraterno y presidente de capitulo, no era lo suficientemente bueno. El alegaba que al capítulo de su padre le “faltaba mucho” como ejemplo de la fraternidad.

El Capitulo ανγη, en que él se inicio, era uno que vivía de las glorias del pasado y por lo cual sólo le queda la imagen y el nombre de ser uno de los mejores.

Así que su primera manipulación fue la de obtener del Capítulo ανγη un documento que dijera que el merecía la Medalla γιος. Mediante engaño logro la firma del presidente del capítulo y sus cómplices en la trampa (el secretario y tesorero del capítulo) se la otorgaron a pesar que saber que él no cualificaba para ella.

Mentiras y manipulaciones le dieron una medalla.

Cuando comenzó a avistarse una crisis en la administración del Capítulo ανγη muy hábilmente Chev Jalms se mantuvo tibio. Nunca tomo posición alguna, siempre estuvo sentado en la cerca esperando a ver quien saldría como la fuerza dominante en el Capitulo. Jamás presentó alguna posición que lo pusiera en contradicción con alguno de los grupos. Pero siempre coqueteaba con los dos grupos.

Así, cuando surgió la posibilidad de un vacio en la presidencia del capítulo el estaba listo para asumir la posición. Cuál fue su problema, el no tiene los requisitos necesarios para asumir la presidencia. Así que lo único que tenía que hacer era apuñalear al que fue su mentor, el actual presidente del capítulo.

Mentiras y manipulaciones lo posicionaron para poder lograr un titulo.

En nuestra fraternidad jamás se pide para nosotros mismos. Es una falta a la ética fraternal el llamar y decir “yo quiero”. Sin embargo Chev Jalms lo hizo, llamó al Gran Capitulo y solicitó el permiso necesario para poder asumir la presidencia del capítulo al cual pertenece. Obviando la jerarquía de la fraternidad, quien sólo puede pedir que se dispense de seguir los reglamentos es el Presidente del Capítulo.

Además, Chev Jalms presentó la imagen que no habían otros fraternos para asumir el liderato. El ofusco la realidad que existían fraternos que cumplían con los requisitos para asumir la presidencia. También escondió la realidad que entre ellos habían fraternos dispuestos e interesados en asumir la presidencia. Inclusive se obvio la alternativa que pasados presidentes pudieran asumir la presidencia.

También ayudó que el represéntate del Gran Capitulo en el Área Administrativa insistió en organizar un Capitulo Juvenil, presentando a Chev Jalms como uno de los que apoyaban ese proyecto. Lo cual agrado grandemente al Gran Canciller, ya que los Capitulo Juveniles era su proyecto personal.

Mentiras y manipulaciones lograron el permiso para asumir una posición para la que no tenía derecho.

El día de la elección fue la conclusión de todos los esfuerzos de la manipulación de personas y de un sistema administrativo y del hábil uso de las mentiras.

El primer paso, se aseguraron que la información le llegara a los menos fraternos posibles que la posición de Presidente estaba disponible.

El segundo, asegurarse que aquellos fraternos que apoyaran a Chev Jalms fueran los informados y alentados a participar de las elecciones.

Esto se logró por medio del secretario, quien controla los avisos a los miembros del capítulo y el tesorero quien recibe el pago de cuotas para poder votar. Inclusive el director del comité de elecciones insistió que personas que no fueran del capítulo fueran expulsadas para que no presenciaran el proceso eleccionario (a lo cual el presidente del capítulo se opuso y permitió a la presencia de los fraternos. ‘Yo no tengo nada que esconder’, concluyó su decisión)

Que valga aclarar que el Presidente el Capitulo ανγη hizo esfuerzos para que fraternos cualificados se enteraran y participaran de las elecciones. Contrario a los refranes, los honrados esfuerzos de una persona digna jamás podrán contra los de una organización de hombres esclavos de sus pasiones y de malas costumbres.

Después de vacios discursos diseñados al apoyo y ofuscación concluyó un proceso eleccionario ‘pro forma’, por demás está decir que Chev Jalms ganó la elección…

Chev Jalms y su equipo estaban tan seguros de su elección que ya tenían preparado un banquete celebratorio. No solo eso, ya habían preparado la fiesta de navidad a solo dos días de la elección (sorprendente considerando la incompetencia en estos asuntos plagó el año anterior). Todo esto sin tan siquiera consultar al presidente saliente quien continuaría dirigiendo los destinos del capítulo por los próximos dos meses.

Mentiras y manipulaciones lo posicionaron para poder lograr una posición para la cual no está preparado o merecía.

El decir “he recibido el llamado a la presidencia” no es razón suficiente para ser presidente y nadie lo debería aceptar como tal. Más cuando es un asunto de beneficio personal y gratificación del ego.

Lo triste es que este tipo de persona es lo que ha de triunfar y subir muy alto en nuestra fraternidad. El ser un embustero y un manipulador deja frutos… Chev Jalms y sus secuaces lo han demostrado.

El asunto que me preocupa es que nuestra fraternidad es una que busca mejorar a los hombres enséñales de la moral universal. Se supone que seamos el mejor hombre posible. Donde se trabaje para eliminar las corrupciones del mundo profano, no traerlas a la fraternidad…

La elección de Chev Jalms es un día triste en la historia de nuestra fraternidad y de vergüenza para quienes lo permitieron…

Pd. Faltan dos meses para Chev Jalms sea instalado como presidente del capítulo, sin embargo ya tomó el título de presidente y está pidiendo que se le llame Señor Presidente.

Pdd. En un momento que parecería una gran sátira, Chev Jalms recordó como afroamericanos fueron presidentes del capítulo en el pasado. Según el dos fraternos afroamericanos han sido presidentes del capítulo en sus más de 100 años de historia. Además de mencionar de cómo el capitulo había practicado la caridad con los pobres afroamericanos de la cuidad.

Esto lo hizo para intentar contrarrestar argumentos, apoyados por un pasado presidente, que el candidato que corrió contra él ha sido mantenido fuera de la silla de la presidencial por los pasados 8 años por ser afroamericano. Obviamente Chev Jalms obvio que han pasado más de 8 años desde que se le ha permitido a un afroamericano unirse al Capitulo ανγη y más 60 años desde que un afroamericano ha sido presidente. También obvio que la calidad y compromiso con los ideales de la fraternidad de los hermanos de aquella época era muy superior a la de los fraternos que hoy día han secuestrado el Capitulo ανγη.

Me tienes que perdonar

Uno de los conceptos que hacen al cristianismo una de la filosofías místico-religiosas mas dañina para la convivencia en sociedad es su concepto del perdón.

El perdón para el cristiano proviene de un dios incognoscible. El cual habita en un plano diferente al de sus súbditos o sólo en sus mentes. Dentro del proceso de alcanzar el perdón los cristianos también la logran mediante intercesión de una deidad que lleva muerto más de dos mil años o de todo un panteón de dioses menores. Esta racionalización metafísica la podemos resumir con la frase, Perdón Divino.

Para obtener el perdón divino lo único que los cristianos tienen que hacer es arrepentirse de sus acciones ante su dios. Quien simplemente en su misericordia lo perdonará si su arrepentimiento es sincero. Para complicar el proceso del perdón divino, la religión cristiana y sus iglesias añaden la intervención humana.

Los dogmas de la iglesia cristiana estipulan que la confesión de los pecados debe ser ante otro ser humano. Ya sea en la privacidad de un confesional ante un sacerdote o públicamente ante una congregación. La admisión y profesión de una acción que causo daño a un dios o un ser humano es el principio del camino al perdón.

En la versión en que el perdón divino es buscado ante un dios, solo la creencia de absolución es necesaria. Cualquier indicio de sicronicidad u ofuscación psicótica puede ser interpretado como mensaje de que una deidad lo ha perdonado. Además, es casi un axioma cristiano que mediante el arrepentimiento y la búsqueda del perdón divino, dios absuelve de culpa. Dicho de manera simple la persona se perdona así mismo por las transgresiones que haya cometido.

Por su parte en la versión que el perdón divino se busca entre los seres humanos, es decir a través los representantes de una deidad en el campo de lo material, el perdón se logra mediante una admisión de culpa, profesar arrepentimiento y un acto de contrición. Los primeros dos elementos dependen de la persona transgresora, el tercer elemento depende de los representantes de una deidad.

De manera estándar, cuando se sale de la privacidad de confesional el sacerdote prescribe cierta cantidad de oraciones o rezos. Los cuales, si entendemos la mecánica es el repetir una serie de palabras (la cantidad la determina el tipo de ofensa). En la práctica lo único que logra es tomarle tiempo a la persona y mantenerlo ocupado para evitar que siga haciendo daño.

Cuando se busca el perdón divino por la intercesión de una congregación lo que se hace es admitir públicamente una ofensa. Lo que se logra es tener un grupo de apoyo o de castigo. El sistema que se promueve en este tipo de búsqueda del perdón es la humillación de la persona ante sus pares. Dejando el asunto de la transgresión cometido entre la familia cristina.

¿En que falla todo esto? ¿Que lo hace una actitud dañina a la vida en comunidad? El perdón divino le quita la responsabilidad al actor de las acciones, no le permite enfrentar las consecuencias de sus acciones y no toma en consideración a las víctimas de las acciones del cristiano.

Principalmente, en ningún momento se estipula que se tiene que hacer restitución por el daño causado. Ni siquiera se estipula el tener que darle una disculpa contra quien se ha causado daño. Desde el punto de vista del cristiano, porque se ha de buscar el perdón de la victima de las acciones dañinas si un dios, un sacerdote o una congregación me han de perdonar por las mismas. De tal manera se le permite escapar a los resultados de sus acciones en sociedad. La concordia con otros miembros de la sociedad toma un segundo plano ya que un dios y el mundo mejor que ha prometido después de la muerte es lo verdaderamente importante. Además, si los infieles tienen suerte el dios de los cristianos ha de recompensar a las víctimas del daño causado por ellos en el otro mundo.

Otro aspecto a considerar es el complejo de mártires que tienen los cristianos. El cual les permite el asumir una visión derrotista ante sus propias acciones. Estos no son responsables de sus acciones, al contrario son las víctimas de las mismas. Por lo cual merecen compasión, comprensión y salvación. Así la victima de las acciones de los cristianos es sacrificada por los pecados de los pecados del cristiano. Así ellos siguen el ejemplo de Cristo, no sacrificándose ellos, pero sacrificando a otros por su salvación.

Eso logra que se transfiera la responsabilidad de la acción propia a otros. Si el cristiano hace daño no importa ya que se le tiene que perdonar. Donde si las personas que están a su alrededor son verdaderamente buenas (a pesar de no ser cristianos) y dignas de mi consideración, perdonaran el daño causado. Que no nos sorprenda los altos niveles de conversión al cristianismo de los criminales convictos. Estos buscan el perdón como medio de liberarse del castigo por sus acciones.

Si la victima de las acciones del cristiano no le perdona, esto es prueba de su mala calidad como ser humano, por lo cual no merece ninguna consideración. Claro que en la torcidamente mente del cristiano, en ningún momento se ha considerado que si verdaderamente un cristiano fuera una buena persona se esforzarían en no hacer daño en vez de obligar a victimas a perdonarlo.

Si este concepto se limitara a comunas separadas del resto de humanidad no sería algo tan malo. Lo que hace malo esta interacción es que los cristianos imponen su concepto del perdón a aquellos que no son cristianos. Donde muy convenientemente se crea una expectativa del perdón por las transgresiones que los cristianos hacen contra otros. Inclusive en su hipocresía los cristianos perdonan a los que no los perdonan.

A los cristianos no se les puede perdonar por sus acciones. Que ellos pretendan ser perdonados por sus acciones que transgreden la vida en sociedad es un uso de la religión para obtener ventajas que a otros no se le permitirían. La búsqueda del perdón por el cristiano es tan solo un remedio a su irresponsabilidad. Como no estuvo consciente de sus acciones o de sus consecuencias o simplemente no le impartió ahora tiene que pedir perdón. Como sea aquellos que hacen daño por acciones, negligencia u omisión no merecen el perdón. El arrepentimiento por si solo ‘no le devuelve la vida a la víctima del asesino’.

Cuando alguien haga un daño este tiene que ser castigado, no por un ausente ser, o en un imaginario purgatorio o inferno, si no que en las instituciones sociales que se han establecido para estos fines. Los daños tienen que ser rectificados y la propiedad dañada tiene que ser restaurada. El perdón divino no restaura mágicamente lo dañado como los cristianos en sus alucinaciones colectivas creen.

Si los cristianos quieren el perdón y absolución sin un acto concreto de restauración o castigo que le recen a su amigo imaginario. Hay que dejarlos en su psicosis colectiva… solo remuévanlos de la vida en la sociedad.

Mis enemigos… mis mejores amigos

Mis enemigos son mis más grandes aliados. El amor que les tengo, y el que ellos profesan por mi, jamás podría cuantificado. Ustedes son quienes diligentemente cantan de mis virtudes y de una manera muy asertiva señalan mis defectos.

No hay personas que garanticen dar promoción a mi persona como mis enemigos. Ellos siempre me tienen en la punta de la lengua y en la de su lápiz. Hablando constantemente de mí a todos los que les escuchan y escribiendo sus impresiones de mí. Mis amistades me convierten en héroe, mis enemigos me convierten en leyenda.

Inclusive siempre estoy en sus mentes como un espectro que los atormenta. Ellos me infunden con la fuerza de sus pensamientos.

La ayuda en el mejoramiento personal que mis enemigos me dan es invaluable. Ellos son completamente diligentes en su constante análisis de mi persona y de mis acciones. Son más efectivos que cualquier consultor de imagen que pueda contratar o psicoanalista que me pueda tratar.

Le debo mucho a mis enemigos.

Le debería devolver el favor a ellos y decirle cuáles son sus defectos. Debería reciprocarles todo el amor que ellos me envían. Debería dedicarles tiempo y darle igual fama ante las personas que nos conocen. Debería proclamar sus virtudes al tope de mi voz. Pero soy muy egoísta. No lo hare y los dejare en el olvido.

Lo sé, soy un mal agradecido…

Voting Styles: Short Musing After Mid Terms 2010

There have been a series of voting styles through the ages. Meaning that in the 200 years of the US history you can identify certain decision patterns in the voters. From those based in civic duty to those who hope for change. These patterns are the ones that can be exploited by the political parties and the interest groups in the manipulation of the masses. After 200 you can say that these patterns are variations of previous patterns or could be a new as a reaction to a previous one.

Once upon a time voting was a matter of civic duty. The voters would go and perform their duty to select the persons that would represent them in the government and would do the best job possible representing their interests. These candidates were to foster and develop the policies of the political party and the blueprint presented to the voters.

Somewhere along the line voting became a popularity contest in the truest sense possible. The candidates became the issue in the race for the elective position. It was no longer a matter of the person that could the best job, but the one that could sell its personality the best. On the flip side, or the one that could smash the other candidates persona the hardest so to discredit and make that person ineligible (regardless of merit).

This popularity contest got more complicated when interest groups learned that they could funnel in tons of money for their candidates PR campaigns. This made even the person of the candidate irrelevant for the selection process, now it was the image of the candidate that was sold to the voters. The image was the one the interest groups wanted to put forward or the one the PR agencies would design based on what was needed to attract the desired target market. Substance was, and is, irrelevant

Once or twice a phenomenon would occur and the voters would vote in someone that brings them hope for change. But usually this is a too sporadic event to really matter.

A newer pattern that has emerged is the negative vote. The voters would support the candidates, not because they feel the y are the best for the position, or represented their interest. But rather on a matter of who I am voting against. The politics that offended me the most are the politics that I need to keep out of the elective positions, regardless of who is put in that elective position.

Then the most recent pattern is determined by fear. Not a new tool, but a new trend. Candidates would use their PR companies to make sure to tell voters who to fear the most. They would study the voters psyche and make sure to use the fear a target market might have. When there is nothing to fear they would create something to be afraid of. Pundits and demagogues are helpful on pin pointing and propagating, while news services help to give credence to the fearsome item.

Nowadays you vote not for the person, the idea or the image that you think is the best representing you or the policies you support. Rather you are voting for what you fear the most or hate the less...

What could be the next trend, and old tool, the use of hate in mass quantities, openly and without shame…



Thank your veterans…

Today is Veterans Day where as a nation we say thanks to our military service veterans. Once upon a time veterans, in the best of cases, were forgotten, in the worst were scorned. Now as a society we have reached a level of maturity where we are aware of the sacrifices our veterans do for us. Still we need to do much more for them after their service, but at least we are working on improving.

As citizens we must honor those who serve in the military, because they are serving us. They are the ones that do the job that we as civilians are neither prepare nor willing to do. They go to the places where we rather not go. And in the process they leave family and friends behind to do that job for us.

Let us not forget that is us who send them in to harm’s way. It is us who vote in the politicians that represent us and send our military service personal to combat and disaster zones. Yet it is us the ones that forget the civic activism that can help influence the system to bring them back home, give them proper medical care and descent wages. Then why would anyone blame the military personal for doing the job that we send them to do? And dare not thank them properly.

On this day we have to thank them, send them our appreciation and show them our love and be grateful that they are person willing to do what we are not.

I want my tax money back

My grandmother has never used any government welfare aid and at her 86 years is still heavily taxed for been a productive member of society. As a working woman she paid her social security, retirement plan, Medicaid and her taxes. Because her life savings and properties she is not eligible for any government support or subsides. An example of what a responsible person should be.

Recently I stumbled with a woman in her late 30’s who has always lived in the projects, collected welfare, public health plan, her bastard children educated and fed in public schools and all the other goodies the Welfare State can come up to support the parasites of society. All at the expense of the productive members of society… like my grandmother…

That’s why I want my tax money back… I refuse to support a system that penalizes effort and talent and rewards mediocrity.

Thus, I have figured it out how to get my tax money back from the government. We are living in a welfare system. I disagree with the idea of supporting non productive leaches in this society. If they cannot produce let them die. Why the tax payers have to put a roof over their head or food in the tables (and the rest of the perks that the “poor and needy” get). If a man and a woman are irresponsible enough to have a child that they cannot support, why do we have to pay the medical and nutritional expenses of raising that child?

I can understand that nutritional support, limited health insurance and targeted education are an investment to stabilize society and thus the markets. It could also be considered in the realm market stability the developing a healthy and educated workforce to support it. I can even justify government support when disasters strike. But if the government pays for the nutrition, health and education, it should be on the government terms, for a limited time, as a privilege not right and it has to fulfill the labor and policy needs of the government.

When figuring out how much the government owes me in taxes I only needed to grab my W2’s and purchase receipts. That gave me the basic amount that I can collect back from the government. The use of infrastructure is paid by the tolls and service fee in public transportation. Government services are extremely inefficient and thus I do not feel oblige to pay for the incompetents that don’t do their job right, complicate my life and only complain for having to do their jobs. Also I could calculate the nutrition, rent, utilities and medical expenses that I have been paying, since the government gives the “poor and needy” those services, I wanted them too, plus I want to know how much I spend compared to the leaches.

Since the list of “benefits” that these leaches are “eligible to” is readily available, I figured out what are the cost per person per month according to their age and marital status. I figured out what I can get from the government to support my life style. Most importantly I know what I can get from my tax money.

To get my tax money back (including all the permutations that taxes take) I plan to take full advantage of the welfare system. I am going to be a displaced worker who needs the help of the government for nutrition, shelter and health. I am going to ask for all the no-strings attach perks that the government gives the “poor and needy”, which are based only on the dubious virtue of need.

I am going to get food, government subsidence health care, subsidized utilities and housing equal to the amount that I have paid in taxes to the government. On a ridiculous level, I am even going to get a mobile phone paid by the government benefits.

During this time that the government is supporting me I will do all the glorious projects that work does not allow me to do. Finish school, read all the books that I haven’t had the time to read, listen to the music that I don’t have to the luxury of hearing for been in the work place… get up late or just stroll thru the streets because I no longer am in a hurry to get to and from work…

And, since I am a reasonable man, once I had collected back my tax money I will return to work, I will produce, pay my taxes and meaningfully contribute to society… until I have contribute enough taxes and do it all over again… I want to make Ragnar Danneskjold proud.

La Madre Puertorriqueña que Mata a Sus Hijos

Porque les sorprende que una madrepuertorriqueña mate a sus hijos. Si en la actual sociedad se le reafirma constantementea la hembra que los hijos son de las madres... un hijo es tan solo la propiedadde la madre. Desde lo más recóndito de su infancia a las hembras se les diceque su función es procrear (luego ser madre y esposa). Que la criatura que estáen su vientre es parte de ella.


Que no se nos olvide que vivimos en unasociedad donde se les dice a las personas que tienen la libertad de poseer ydisponer de su propiedad (siempre y cuando se pague los impuestos pertinentesal gobierno). Cuando algo es tu propiedad tienes la libertad de hacer lo que deseascon esa propiedad. Lo puedes regalar o vender, como hacen las madres que dan asus hijos en adopción. Tener hijos ya no es un asunto de responsabilidada la patria, propagación del material genético, perpetuación del nombrefamiliar o ni siquiera amor. Es un asunto económico de la hembra para obtenerel sustento y la comodidad. Nosotros le enseñamos a las mujeres que cuando sean madressus acciones están justificadas porque son sus hijos... y nosotros no tenemosporque intervenir en lo que sucede entre una madre y su hijo. Así que matar alos hijos ya sea en un arrebato de cólera o de una manera calculadora es unaacción viable y aceptable en la psiquis de la hembra puertorriqueña. Ellasestán haciendo lo que quieren con su propiedad... como le hemos enseñado y permitido.



Thank You Sex and the City

A while back I had an encounter with a woman that I dated years ago. As we prepared to say our goodbyes she reached for her purse in search for her business card. Among the stuff she pulled out of her purse I noticed a pin that said “I am a Miranda”. That made me wonder what being a Miranda meant to her and (selfish me) how that would affect me. Since I knew little about Sex and the City I went to watch all the seasons. After much study and pondering it hit me, Sex and the City has given us man the keys to improve our lives.

All the men in the civilized world (civilized meaning cities with internet, cable, movies and coffee shops) should be grateful for the writers, producers and directors of the Sex and City franchise. This debt of gratitude comes from the fact that Sex and the City has created a series of archetypes that will now reside in the female collective unconscious. We man can use these archetypes to try and figure out the female species that inhabit our cities.

Archetypes are the symbols that become universally accepted by a group. Most importantly is that these archetypes become a model of what should be. These are to be copied in the person’s life and are ideals for a person to aspire to. The Bible, Shakespeare and even Star Wars have provided us and articulated for us the examples of the most enduring archetypes in our society. Sex and the City have provided us with four new archetypes of the female in our society (a few of the male character).

With millions of loyal viewers, blogs, wikis and blockbusters films, the spread of these archetypes is far and wide. Even the detractors of the ideals in Sex and the City help to spread them. Those who argue against these archetypes go about ranting that they present stereotypical shallow, nihilistic and materialistic women. Yet they miss the fact that by bringing controversy to the issue they give credence and exposure to these ideals by denouncing them.

Thankfully, some women explicitly accept that they do try to imitate and become the archetypes of their choosing. For men these women are easy to peg since they proudly adhere to one of the four archetypical females of the series. You only need to be able to identify which character of the series she identifies with and you will know what her archetypical vision of herself is.

By knowing the archetypes in Sex and the City you will have an idea of the strengths and flaws of the women in your life and her vision of the future life. But more importantly is that every archetypical woman in Sex and the City has pre selected archetypal man to be paired with them (Carrie and Mr. Big, Charlotte and Harry, etc.). We can, according to the characters in the series, decipher what are their expectations in a relationship is. We have a model to adapt ourselves to what their expectations might be of a man.

Still most of the woman that have been exposed to the archetypical ideals in Sex and City do not freely admit the influence, dismissing these as stereotypical females, just characters in a TV series. This denial is important for the advantage of man, since it is impossible to be exposed to an ideal and not be influenced by it at some level. Those women that have followed the franchise have been exposed to that ideal, the longer they have been exposed to that idea the more it is reinforced. They have in their consciousness and unconscious what are the archetypes that they should strive for.

The heroine of the mythos, Carrie, is the main archetype for females (or least the one most sold to woman). She represents the intelligent successful artist whose musings on relationships is the drive of the franchise. She embodies the flaw that could send any man running from any woman, insatiable materialism. Samantha is the strong no nonsense business woman who is equally confident in herself and self centered. Charlotte is the well educated and well mannered heiress ready to be swoop away by a knight in shining armor as such she lacks common sense. Miranda is a professional and workaholic who tries to be pragmatic in her life, yet ends up as being mostly shallow (the perfect description of my former date).

Sex and the City also present us a few male archetypes that women might be expecting or might be looking for. Conveniently enough, there are more male archetypes than females, ladies choice it seems. The one that all men we should scorn is Mr. Big. It can be argued that this is the ideal man in the series. None of his flaws are truly an impediment to his perfection. Not even his unwillingness to commit or the episodes of unfaithfulness are as important as his virtues. He is financially secure, has the looks and the wit, in that order of importance to the females in the series.

The rest of the males presented in Sex and the City represent different characteristics that woman might be looking for at different stages of their development. We have Smith the young dude that is willing to wait and deal with the issues of an older woman. Trey, the perfect gentleman of breed who might have undisclosed issues that hampers his perfection. Jack the intellectual equal of the heroine who is mostly wrong and not able to live to his own (and his mate) expectations. Aidan the perfect would-be husband if the heroine will have him. But, my personal favorite is Aleksandr, the Russian, a self absolved artist who puts its career before anything else. Yet the woman is willing to do what he wants her to do.

There are other archetypes and combinations of them but it is the man in the relationship who must watch the series to be prepared on what the expectations of him might be.

As a creator of expectations there is a dark side to Sex and the City. You could argue that Sex and the City creates a series of unattainable stereotypes to the average woman. That these archetypes create a series of unrealistic life styles goals and self image. This creates a cognitive dissonance between what the self image should be and what really is. This can lead to personal frustrations and tension in the relations when the ideals of Sex and the City are not met. But any man with common sense will run away from any woman that takes a TV series to that extreme…

Watching re runs of Sex and City, reading the wiki’s from the characters and going to the movies is an endeavor of a researcher. Men who undertake these tasks are social scientist who are striving understand the female species. As responsible social scientist we must watch the new installment of this series, smartly call Sex and the City 2. We must accompany our girlfriends and take our dates to this movie. They will think that we are doing it out of thoughtfulness to them. That we are being the perfect husband and the good boyfriend who are willing to go, see and enjoy a chick flick with them. When in reality we are in a fact-finding expedition on what is the next step in the civilize world women collective unconsciousness.

We might never be able to answer Freud perennial question, what do woman want? But now Sex and the City have constructed an answer for us in its unique way to that question. We can answer what do woman who watches Sex and the City want… and use that knowledge to our advantage… to have safe sex in the cities…

Pay your taxes

Taxes are a necessary evil in urban settings. They help to fund services and maintain the infrastructure that allows the function of complex large scale communities. In this setting a person that do not want to pay taxes only needs to remove itself from said community and not use the infrastructure that tax payers support. You don’t have to pay for anything that you do not use, you only need to pay in equal amount of the use collective services.

Yet, there are three instances when it is a moral and ethical imperative not to pay taxes. Under any of these conditions an individual should be compelled to pay taxes:

1. When the resources levied by taxes are not invested in the community. If a community is able to produce more, it should be able to invest the higher yield of taxes in a better infrastructure and services. Any individual should be glad to behold when its taxes are used in pragmatic public works in its community. And be outraged when resources are not used in their communities.

2. When the resources are to benefit those who do not produce. To each according to the there is the vilest crime against the individual and society. You should be remunerated according to your talents and efforts. You should be able to keep what you make and you community should benefit from you effort. Those who do not work should not eat, mediocrity and failure should never be regarded with pity.

3. When the government is inherently corrupt. A government that is corrupt should never be supported. When services and privileges are assigned to the friends of politicians and not to the best qualified provider of services that is a clear sign of corruption. When government officials assign themselves more resources than what they produce; when their life style is superior to the citizen that they serve. That is a corrupt government.

When any person that produces and is intelligent enough to discern with logic and reason that the taxes paid are in the use of a corrupt government, support the failure and the weak, and do not benefit directly the community where the payer resides no tax is owe and no tax should be paid.

Beat the Bullies

The only real consistent and effective manner to deal with violence is more ruthless unabashed violence. The greatest nations have flourished in the backs of the weak people that were conquered. If history has taught us something is that the weak are enslaved and ravaged and the peace makers always end up in pain or dead.

As such there is only one way to deal with bullies: violent strength. When have you seen a bully pick on a strong person? When has a nation attacked a stronger nation and prevailed. As rule, to fulfill their will and pleasures, the bullies prey on the weakest ones of the pack. They can get maximum pleasure with the least possible rick to their own wellbeing.

There are other alternatives to violence, but seldom yield any lasting result other than failure. You could try to reason, but reason is not effective against rabid animals. Another could be the enjoyment of the abuse. This can confuse the bully, but confused animals are unpredictable. A bully do not know what to make of the joy on been bullied. This is a gamble for you could become the bully’s pet and seek another person to be bullied or the bulling might get worse.

Another gamble is apathy. Not showing any manner of emotion at the bullying. Anger, pain and sorrow are sustenance for the bully. If you show no reaction soon they will starve and leave you alone. Or in their hunger provoke desperation, as a rampaging army, they could scale up the bullying for a reaction.

Yet the strength of violence will always keep the bullies away. You must be stronger and more cunning than the bully. You must not show any mercy to those who are merciless to you. ‘If a man smites you in one cheek, smash him on the other’.

You must train your body and steal your mind. Learn to fight and nurture the art of vengeance. Use the resource in your environment to your advantage.

No act of bullying should keep without proper retribution. Seek appropriate revenge by using the people that are around you. The bleeding hearts are primed to be exploited. They want to be fair and just, they want to be the heroes that save the weak bullied kid in the school. They will protect you and make a temporarily safe haven for you to develop the necessary skills to destroy the bully. Then use them, manipulate them unto doing your bidding in your revenge. Be as the weak nations that use some sort of emotional black mail to get stronger nations to do their bidding. Anything and everything is fair.

Once you are physically strong, once you have learned how to fight seek your bully. But do not fight fairly, nor cleanly, ambush the bully. Seek the bully where there is no one to see, make it personal. Use all methods necessary to inflict the maximum amount of pain. But leave no mark, the psychological scaring in the bully will be worse. Been defeated by the tormented will last a lifetime. Do not hold back and make sure that all need and desire to bully is purged from the bully’s mind and soul.

Bullying is an act of violence, which only ends with another act of even more brutal violence. Learn it and apply it.

Bullied to death?! That is crap!

We are raising a generation of silly, stupid and weak children. Bullying is not a ‘disturbing trend’… its just part of the daily life in a community. Bullies are everywhere, not only in the school halls and yards. The bullies sit behind the school principal’s desk and in counselor’s office in police cars and in senator’s chambers…

Bullies are nothing more than the idiots that want you to do something, when they want it, and will inflict harm when you do not bow down in acquiescence to their wishes. For in their minds they are right and have a perceived power to enforce those wishes.

The bullying in the schools halls and yards, even cyberspace (for stupid it is to be harmed by something in a glorified TV screen), is the necessary training to achieve resiliency to face real life in society. Life in society it’s not fair, nor easy, people are not good (unless they have something to gain). Bullies in schools give you a taste of life…

If you can’t handle the stress in a scale down simulation of life, and choose to die, you are only proving that you are weak and do not deserve to live. By choosing to live you are proving your strength, resiliency and adaptability at the stress of daily life. By striving you are defeating the bullies.

But the bleeding hearts, the child worshipers, will not let nature run its path. They want to protect unfit children from their own inability to survive in the community.

If a teen commit suicide over bullying that it’s the teen fault. To exaggerate the impact of a single death to the community is an act of selfishness, solipsism and bullying. The suicide teen was weak and ill equip to deal with the brutal reality of life. Bury the corpse and be done with it. No matter how much you ‘bitch & moan’ you cannot bring a dead body to life. No matter the punishment bullying will continue.

Next time when future parents fornicate and by nature’s mistake procreate they should strive to raise a strong and resilient child. Communities should foster and environment that helps a child be physically and mentally healthy and strong by raising the standards, not bringing them down to the undeserving weaklings.

But if by any chance that offspring end up as a suicide, good, weak gens should be removed from the human race…

Let’s be free

How right are the words, Freedom's just another word for nothing left to loose. For an individual that has nothing to lose is the individual who can take any chances without worry. That individual is beyond the worries of that have been self imposed. That individual is beyond the consequences that are not his own.

We must be free. We strive to be free since we have conscience, even beyond the age of reason. Since Adam and Eve, since Lucifer and Prometheus we are in constant struggle to be free. And as such we must design and build our lives in the manner that we can leave everything and owe nothing to anyone.

Take the Buddhist concept of detachment to the extreme…

When you can say, I don’t need this job… and be able to quit without repercussion you are free. When you are able to say or write what’s in your mind without any internal sensor, then you are free. If you can say to that significant other “I don’t want you or need you”, and follow your own road and not miss that being... When you can turn your gaze to the heavens and hells and yell ‘I am beyond you’, then you are truly free.

But that requires the courage of being an individual. That requires the shrewdness of a being with purpose…

Forgotten Divinity

We were born as gods. Anything and everything that was there to be given was placed at our feet as the objects of worship that we were. A single sound of our voice commanded every mortal’s attention. Physical pleasantries that reminded us of what we were, for there was no part of us that was not of the gods.

As every tragedy goes, we lost touch with our divinity. We were made to forget that we were gods once. All the mortals, god themselves once, taught us that we could not be a god. That we must limit ourselves in this physical existence, be content with a simple mortal life.

We were exiles from our rightful places in the halls of Olympus. It was our forgotten task to storm the gates of all heavens above and below and reclaim our places among the gods. We forget that we were destined to live the sagas of the ages, and neglected to live the extraordinary life of the heroes and the semi gods that walks the mortal planes.

But we didn’t forget. We were taught that we cannot be gods. That godhood is for only one anthropomorphic white-bearded-sheet-clad old man. A whole series of systems were invented to maintain ideas like that. To keep the new gods from remembering what they truly were.

The newer gods were tough that they couldn’t get what they wanted, that they must learn to compromise, to restrain themselves. Teaching that the exercise of anciently constructed virtues would eventually lead to serve in some heaven. Spoon feeding the idea that the worship of another god would allow them to be in the presence of a god.

We learned to subjugate our will to that of an external god. That was not part of us. A god that limit our own godhood, and impede the reenactment of our apotheosis.

We must unlearn, we must relearn… we must reclaim what is our birthright.

We must promise ourselves that from this day on our lives will be the adventures of heroes. Adventures that would over shadow the accomplishments of Hercules, the travels of Odysseus or the myths of Gilgamesh. Our delights must make Dionysus, Pan and Bacchus envious. Our loves and passions overshadow that of Ishtar and Inanna… and make gods like Zeus and Osiris proud of our accomplishments…

We must promise ourselves to become the gods that we were meant to be…
